Friendship Baskets

This lap quilt is called "Friendship Baskets" I had planned on making a larger quilt but I got tired of making the blocks for it! :) I still need to add the binding on it, but I will get to that soon.
I used the quilting pantograph called "Flower Power" I like that design.

Hopefully, I can get another one on the frame soon!

Green Mountain Star

This is another one of mine. It is called "Green Mountain Star" This is completely different than my usual style. I quilted this one with the "river run" quilting design which looks like running water. You can't see it in the photo but the fabrics used in the stars has water drops on them.
I have quilted a few more over the past few months but now sure what I did with the photos unless they are on my other camera.

I think this one really looks like Fall.

Gifts for my sister!

This is a 4 patch pink and brown quilt that I made. It is quilted with a small stipple. I love the colors in it. I just gave this one to my sister for her 25th birthday. She loved it.
Here is a photo of the above quilt and a crib size quilt made from leftovers. On the crib quilt I practiced a quilting design called "Angel Wings" I gave this quilt to my sister also for her little poodle that she treats like a child.
She was very happy with both.

Bluestone Tumble

This is a donation quilt that I did. I use these to practice new pantographs on. This is quilted with the "Springy Thing" design.
This quilt is a pattern that I got out of a magazine a few years ago. The pattern is called "Bluestone Tumble" I think is is called that because of the fabric used on the quilt in the magazine. I just made mine from scraps.
It is quilted using the "Random Leaves" quilting design. I love how this one turned out too.

Two Customer Quilts

Here are two customer quilts that I did for a fellow blogger! She did such a wonderful job piecing these it was an honor to quilt them for her.

She wanted the same flat stipple quilting design on both quilts. This quilting is very tight, less than an inch apart. I just love how they turned out.

This is the pieced back for this quilt.
There was a ton of quilting in these two quilts but worth it all in the end, they turned out beautiful!

Two More Projects Finished!

This is a simple quilt that I quilted for Hunter. He is crazy about the Marines because Richard is an ex-Marine. I did a large stipple on this one. He loves it and so does Donkey, the cat!
This is a Fall Tablerunner, that my friend Lisa made for me. She pieced the top and I quilted and did the binding on it.
I really love how it turned out and I now have it on my table!!!

Two More Of My Quilts

Here is two more of my little quilts. This first one was made from leftover blocks of a larger quilt that I have not quilted yet. The Spiderweb block. I did a simple small stipple on this one.
This is my Lone Star quilt. I really like this one! I also did a small stipple on this one too.
I have the bindings done on both of these.

Deb's Quilt

This is a quilt that I quilted for my Aunt Deb. Her granddaughter saw one something like this in a catalog and wanted it. A very simple black and white design so she decided on a simple large stipple quilting design.
This quilt measures to be between a full and a queen. Her granddaughter was very pleased with it.

Windmills

I am going to try to catch up on some quilting posts! I was without internet for about 3 months so now I am going to try to post SOME of the quilts that I have quilted during that time.

This one is called "Windmills" It is one of my quilts, a scrappy quilt that I love.

I did a very tight and flat stipple on it. The quilting is less than one inch apart. After I washed it, it became so soft, crinkly, and cuddly. I love how it turned out.

Pansy Park Crib Quilt

I finally got this crib quilt quilted! It has been on the frame for a week and I just got around to quilting it today. This will be a donation quilt to give to the place where my sister works.
I used the panto called "Chantilly Lace" on it. I really like that design. I know eventually I need to move to some harder designs.

Daisy Nine Patch

I quilted another quilt today on the frame! This quilt is just a simple nine patch that was made for my niece. Here is the story...A few years ago my SIL (brother's wife) lost her precious grandmother. They were very close. When she passed away she left Kellie (SIL) and my brother, John her home and everything in it. As they sorted through her things they found a large box of fabric. They gave it to me! :) This quilt was made from some of the fabric that was in the box. I thought that it might be special for my niece to have a quilt made with fabrics that belonged to her great grandmother.

I think the fabrics in this are from 70's. I just did a simple stipple on this one. It is a QUEEN size quilt. That may seem large for a 7 yr old girl but she has a queen size bed.
I almost have the binding finished on the baby quilt that I did yesterday. After it is finished I will work on the binding on this one. I think I will give this to her for Christmas.

Sawtooth Stars!

I finally got another quilt on the frame today! All things went well, not even one thread break! I used the new thread that I got at the thrift store yesterday. I used a light blue for the top and the bobbin thread. The quilt has a blue sheet for backing.

This is a baby quilt that I made for my ex-husbands niece. Giggle, I get along great with his family, it's just him that I don't! hehehehe! Anyway, her baby is due in June and this is her first child.

I tried to take a photo of the quilting but again, it is so gloomy from the rain, I just can't get good lighting.

I used this pantograph called, "Chantilly Lace" I wanted to practice it on something small before I used it on a large quilt. Here's the thing....I made a PINK bargello quilt top a few months ago for my sister, but she doesn't know it is hers. Anyway, since her name is "Chantal" I thought the quilting design called "Chantilly Lace" would be perfect for her quilt. I'm not sure when I will quilt it, I'm not going to give it to her until her birthday in October or Christmas one.

I will work on the binding on this quilt tonight, I have it cut, just need to sew it on. Hopefully, I can get another quilt on the frame the first of the week!
